In this problem it is assumed that particle although moving in a vertical loop but it speed remain constant

Tension at lowest point Tmax=mv2r+mg

Tension at highest point Tmin=mv2r-mg

TmaxTmin=mv2r+mgmv2r-mg=53

3mv2r+3mg=5mv2r-5mg

2mv2r=8mg

v=4rg

=4×2.5×9.8

=98 m s-1
