Standard deviation σ=1ni=1nxi2-1n2i=1nxi2
=1ni=1nxi2-x-2

 5.1=1100×Incorrecti=1nxi2-402
or, 26.01=1100× Incorrect i=1nxi2-1600
Therefore,
Incorrect i=1nxi2=100(26.01+1600)=162601

Correct mean, x ¯=3990100=39.9
Now, Correct i=1nxi2= Incorrect i=1nxi2-502+402
=162601-2500+1600=161701
Therefore correct standard deviation
=Correctxi2n-Correctmean2
=161701100-39.92=1617.01-1592.01=25=5
