The correct answer is:
$3.6 \times 10^{24}$
For hcp, $Z=6$
$\therefore$ Tetrahedral voids $=2 Z=2 \times 6=12$
Tetrahedral voids present in $0.5 \mathrm{~mol}=12 \times 0.5 \mathrm{~mol}$ $=6 N_A=6 \times 6.02 \times 10^{23}=3.6 \times 10^{24}$
$\therefore$ Tetrahedral voids $=2 Z=2 \times 6=12$
