The correct answer is: +2; +3

PtNH32ClNO2 :-

Let the oxidation number of platinum = x

Ammonia is a neutral ligand and chloride is having the -1 oxidation number and nitrate has the -1 oxidation number.

x+2×0+-1+-1=0x-2=0x=+2

Hence, the oxidation state of platinum is +2.

CoCl2(en)2:-

Let the oxidation number of cobalt = y

Ethylenediamine is a neutral ligand and chloride has the -1 charge.

So,

x+2-1=+1x=+3

Hence, the oxidation number of central metal in PtNH32ClNO2 and CoCl2(en)2, respectively, are +2;+3.
