The immunity process where the body is not spending energy or effort in making antibodies rather obtained from outside as ready-made is termed as passive immunity. Antivenom injection contains performed injection which is directly injected into the body giving a quick immune response. Since the antibodies are directly given and not made in the body, antivenom treatment is considered as passive immunity.
