The correct answer is: 1:2:4

ZSC = 8 × 18= 1 

[Atoms are only at the corners]

ZBCC = 8 × 18 +1= 1 + 1=2 

[Atoms are at the corners and at the body center]

ZFCC = 8 × 18 + 6 × 12= 1 + 3 = 4  

[Atoms are at the corners and at the face centers]

Here, Z= effective number of atoms in the unit cell.

Therefore, ZSC: ZBCC: ZFCC=1 : 2 : 4

 




SC:BCC:FCC=1:2:4
