From Bohr’s formula , the wave number 1λ is given by

         1 λ = Z2R 1n12-1n2   2

where Z is atomic number, R the Rydberg's constant and n is the quantum number.

⇒    λ 1 Z 2

Atomic number of lithium is 3, of helium is 2 and of hydrogen is 1.

∴    λ Li 2 +  :  λ He +  :  λ H = 1 3 2  :  1 2 2  :  1

                                     = 1 9  :  1 4  :  1
