Options:
  • A \( \mathrm{t}_{1 / 2}=[\mathrm{A}]_{0} 2 \mathrm{~K} \)
  • B \( \mathrm{t}_{1 / 2}=\frac{0.693}{\mathrm{~K}} \)
  • C \( \mathrm{t}_{1 / 2}=\frac{[\mathrm{A}]_{0}}{2 \mathrm{~K}} \)

The correct answer is: \( \mathrm{t}_{1 / 2}=\frac{[\mathrm{A}]_{0}}{2 \mathrm{~K}} \)

For zeroth order reaction,

    At=A0-Kt

where, At=concentration after time t

              A0=initial concentration

               K=rate constant

                t=time

At half life, At =A02

                    A02= A0 - Kt12Kt12 = A02t12 = A02 K
