Urethra is the urinary duct which originates from the neck of urinary bladder and opens to the exterior at the tip of penis in males.

The urethra in the human male act as a common terminal duct for the urinary system and reproductive system. The urethra acts as an exit point for the urine (urinary system) and semen (reproductive system). The semen exit from the urethra at the time of ejaculation.
