The structure of  the neoprene polymer is as shown below.
It is obtained from chloroprene which is 2-chloro buta-1,3-diene. It is an addition homopolymer with rubber like structure and properties.

Neoprene is a polymer of chloroprene which is chemically 2- chlorobuta - 1, 3 -diene (isoprene). Neoprene exhibits good chemical stability and maintains flexibility over a wide temperature range.
