We have, (1-x)2(x+1x)10
= 12x+ x 2 x 10 + C 10 1 x 9 · 1 x + C 10 2 x 8 × 1 x 2 +...+ 1 x 10
= 12x+ x 2 x 10 + C 10 1 x 8 + C 10 2 x 6 +... + 10 C 9 × 1 x 8 + 1 x 10
So, the term independent of x is
C 10 5 + 2 ×0+ C 10 6 = C 10 5 + C 10 6
=11C5
