$2 \mathrm{x}+3 \mathrm{y}+\mathrm{a}=0$ or $\mathrm{y}=\frac{-2}{3} \mathrm{x}-\frac{\mathrm{a}}{3}$
Slope $=\frac{-2}{3}$
$5 x+k y+a=0$ or $y=\frac{-5}{k} x \frac{-a}{5}$
Slope $=\frac{-5}{\mathrm{k}}$
lines are parallel $\frac{-2}{3}=\frac{-5}{\mathrm{k}}$
$\mathrm{k}=\frac{15}{2}=7.5$
