Large sap vacuole are present in plant cell only, they are surround by a single layered membrane called as tonoplast and the fluid present inside is called as tonoplasm or cell sap. Tonoplast is not a biomembrane and it facilitates the entry of ions into the tonoplasm against the concentration gradient from the cytoplasm.
