The correct answer is: 1

Equivalent internal resistance of two cells in parallel is req=r1r2r1+r2=3×63+6=2 Ω

Equivalent emf of given cells 

 Eeq=E1r1-E2r2req=123-662=6 V

Given: R=4 Ω

The circuit can be redrawn as shown below.

Current through resistor R is I=62+4=1 A.
