The correct answer is: 2.1
Given that, the resultant voltage across the battery terminal=1.5 V



Clearly, 1.2 Volt Battery is Charging and another battery is discharging given,

1.2+0.2I=1.5

I=32 A

E-0.4I=1.5

E=1.5+0.4×32

E=2.1 V
