The correct answer is:
$\frac{125}{4} W$
Voltage across each bulb $V=\frac{110}{2}=55 \mathrm{~W}$ so,power consumed by each bulb will be

$\begin{aligned} P^{\prime} & =\left(\frac{55}{220}\right)^2 \times 500 \\ & =\frac{125}{4} W\end{aligned}$
