The correct answer is: tanθ=1+2Mm

mg=2Tsin45°

⇒   mg=2T

  T1 cosθ=Tcos45

⇒   T1cosθ=T2=mg2              ...(i)

Further, Mg+T cos 45=T1 sinθ     T=mg2

⇒   T1 sinθ=Mg+mg212              ...(ii)

⇒   tanθ=Mg+mg2mg2=1+2Mm

 {dividing Eq. (ii) by Eq. (i)}
