Effective atomic number EAN $=$ Atomic number $-$ oxidation number $+2 \times$ coordination number For $\left[\mathrm{Al}\left(\mathrm{C}_{2} \mathrm{O}_{4}\right)_{3}\right]^{3-}$ $\mathrm{Z}=13$
$\mathrm{ON}=3$ $\mathrm{CN}=6$ $\therefore \mathrm{EAN}=13-3+2 \times 6=22$
$\mathrm{ON}=3$ $\mathrm{CN}=6$ $\therefore \mathrm{EAN}=13-3+2 \times 6=22$
