The correct answer is:
$\sqrt{34}$
$\sqrt{34}$
Equation of Y-axis: $x=0$ and $z=0$
So, length of foot of perpendicular drawn from $\mathrm{P}(3,4,5)$ on $\mathrm{Y}$-axis
$$
\begin{aligned}
&=\sqrt{(0-3)^2+(4-4)^2+(0-5)^2} \\
&=\sqrt{9+0+25}=\sqrt{34}
\end{aligned}
$$
So, length of foot of perpendicular drawn from $\mathrm{P}(3,4,5)$ on $\mathrm{Y}$-axis
$$
\begin{aligned}
&=\sqrt{(0-3)^2+(4-4)^2+(0-5)^2} \\
&=\sqrt{9+0+25}=\sqrt{34}
\end{aligned}
$$
