Succus entericus is the intestinal juice or secretions of the brush border cells of the mucosa along with goblet cells. It contains a variety of enzymes like disaccharidases, dipeptidases, lipases, nucleosidases, etc. These enzymes act on the end products of the digestion and converts the biomacromolecules into simple absorbable forms.
