The correct answer is: 1 and 2
Starch is a polysaccharide made up of many units of glucose. It consists of branched and unbranched structures both. Cellulose is also a polysaccharide and consists of only unbranched chains of glucose. We can differentiate between the two by use of Iodine. Iodine forms blue complex with starch as it forms helices with the branched part of starch. Palmitic acid has 16 carbons and the structure is CH3-CH214COOH . Maltose is a disaccharide and consists of two glucose molecules. Glucose is a hexose sugar and ribose is pentose sugar. Hence glucose formula is C6H12O6  while Ribose is C5H10O5 .
