Contraceptive methods prevent unwanted pregnancy. These methods include Natural, Barrier, Intrauterine devices, Surgical, Chemical, Implants etc.Surgical methods include Vasectomy and Tubectomy. Tubectomy is the ligation of the fallopian tube. It is more difficult than a vasectomy. After this technique, ovulation takes place normally but these ova do not reach the uterus and due to ligation the sperms also cannot meet the ova. Thus menstruation will take place but without ova.
