The correct answer is:
HF
Silica $\left(\mathrm{SiO}_{2}\right)$ is present in the glass. This silica react with hydrofluoric acid.
$$
\begin{aligned}
\mathrm{SiO}_{2}+4 \mathrm{HF} \longrightarrow & \mathrm{SiF}_{4}+2 \mathrm{H}_{2} \mathrm{O} \\
\mathrm{SiF}_{4}+2 \mathrm{HF} \longrightarrow & \mathrm{H}_{2} \mathrm{SiF}_{6} \\
\text { fluorosilicic acid }
\end{aligned}
$$
Note : HF is used for the etching of glass.
