Options:
  • A When $v$ is maximum, $a$ is maximum
  • B Value of $a$ is zero, whatever may be value of $v$
  • C When $v$ is zero, $a$ is zero
  • D When $v$ is maximum $a$ is zero

The correct answer is: When $v$ is maximum $a$ is zero
In SHM
$\text {Velocity }=A \omega \sin \left(\omega t+\frac{\pi}{2}\right)$
Acceleration $= A \omega^2 \sin (\omega t+\pi)$
This shows that $V$ is max then $a=0$
