The correct answer is:
0.0177
Mole fraction of $\mathrm{NaCl}$
$$
=\frac{\text { Number of mole of } \mathrm{NaCl}}{\text { Total number of mole of solution }}
$$
$100 \mathrm{~g}$ water $=\frac{100}{18}$ mol water $=5.5 \mathrm{~mol}$
Mole fraction of $\mathrm{NaCl}=\frac{0.1}{0.1+5.5}=\frac{0.1}{5.6}=0.178$
$$
=\frac{\text { Number of mole of } \mathrm{NaCl}}{\text { Total number of mole of solution }}
$$
$100 \mathrm{~g}$ water $=\frac{100}{18}$ mol water $=5.5 \mathrm{~mol}$
Mole fraction of $\mathrm{NaCl}=\frac{0.1}{0.1+5.5}=\frac{0.1}{5.6}=0.178$
