The correct answer is: 150 cc
It is given that the volume of air in the flask remains the same. This means that the expansion in the volume of the vessel is exactly equal to the volume expansion of mercury.

i.e.,            Δ V G = Δ V L

or        V G γ G Δ θ = V L γ L Δ θ

∴     V L = V G γ G γ L = 1 0 0 0 × 3 × 9 × 1 0 - 6 1.8 × 1 0 - 4 = 1 5 0 cc
