The correct answer is: 9
Let, a= number of red balls.
b= number of blue balls.
p1= probability of drawing two red balls
=aC2a+bC2=aa-1a+ba+b-1
p2= probability of drawings two blue balls
=bC2a+bC2=bb-1a+ba+b-1
p3= probability of drawing one red and one blue ball
=aC1.bC1a+bC2=2aba+ba+b-1
Given that p1=5p2 and p3=6p2
aa-1=5bb-1 and 2ab=6bb-1
a=6,b=3 Total number of balls =9
