The correct answer is:
$200 \mathrm{~m}$
For stone to be dropped from rising balloon of velocity $29 \mathrm{~m} / \mathrm{s}, \mathrm{u}=-29 \mathrm{~m} / \mathrm{s}, \mathrm{t}=10 \mathrm{sec} .$
$\begin{array}{l}
\therefore \mathrm{h}=-29 \times 10+\frac{1}{2} \times 9.8 \times 100 \\
=-290+490=200 \mathrm{~m} .
\end{array}$
$\begin{array}{l}
\therefore \mathrm{h}=-29 \times 10+\frac{1}{2} \times 9.8 \times 100 \\
=-290+490=200 \mathrm{~m} .
\end{array}$
