The total horizontal displacement after one second is,

x=uxt=20×1=20 m,

Vertical displacement after one second is,

y=uyt+12gt2=0+12×101=5 m

vertical velocity of the body after one second,

vy=uy+gt=0+10×1=10 m s-1

and velocity of the body after one second,

vy2+vx2=102+202=500=22.4 m s-1
