59 minutes
Bacteria divide every 1 minute. It means the generation time of bacteria is 60 seconds. It is given that it takes 60 minutes to fill a beaker. Thus after one hour the beaker will be completely filled. Hence half of the beaker i.e. 50 ml will be filled in 59 minutes.
