The correct answer is: $\operatorname{Rs} 540$
Let $\mathrm{n}$ denote number of workers and $\mathrm{x}$, the pay. Let $\mathrm{n}$ denote number of workers ar
$\mathrm{n}_{1}=30, \mathrm{n}_{2}=20, \mathrm{x}_{1}=₹ 500, \mathrm{x}_{2}=₹ 600$
Combined average $=\frac{\mathrm{n}_{1} \mathrm{x}_{1}+\mathrm{n}_{2} \mathrm{x}_{2}}{\mathrm{n}_{1}+\mathrm{n}_{2}}$
$=\frac{30 \times 500+20 \times 600}{30+20}=\frac{15000+12000}{50}$
$=\frac{27000}{50}=540$
Combined average pay $=₹ 540$
