μ=sinδ+A2sinA2, where δ is the minimum deviation

dμ=cosδ+A22sinA2

⇒   dμμ=cos δ+A22sin δ+A2dδ

⇒   dμμ=12cotδ+A2

         δ+A2=45°

⇒   dμμ×100=12cot45°π180×100

Percentage error = 5 π 1 8 %
