What is the ratio of the tension in the string in its horizontal position to when the particle is vertically above the point of support?

At the horizontal position,

T1=mv12l=mg                .......... (i)

At the highest point

T2+mg=mv22l=mgT2=mg             ......... (ii)

From the above equations, we get
