It is located between cornea and the lens, and it is a thin watery fluid
The lens divides the eye into two chambers and both the chambers are filled with fluid. The anterior chamber that lies between lens and cornea is known as Aqueous chamber and the posterior chamber between lens and retina is known as Vitreous chamber. Aqueous chamber contains watery fluid that drains into canal of Schelmm and hence this fluid is replaced continuously. Vitreous fluid is jelly like and it cannot be replaced.
