The correct answer is: $5 \mathrm{~kW}$

As engine is moving on an incline plane
$\therefore$ only component of weight that is $m g \sin \theta$ will oppose upward motion
$\begin{aligned} \text { given } \theta & =1 / 50(\operatorname{small} \theta) \\ \therefore \sin \theta & \approx \theta \\ \text { Power } & =\text { Fore } \times \text { velocity } \\ \text { Power } & =m g \sin \theta \times \theta .\end{aligned}$
$\begin{aligned} & \therefore \text { Power }=5000 \times 10 \times \frac{1}{50} \times 5 \\ & \therefore \text { Power }=5 \mathrm{KW}\end{aligned}$
