Main character of plants is the presence of rigid cell wall around the cell. Bacteria are considered as plants because they have rigid cell wall. Presence of stomata, chlorophyll and green colour are not the features of all plants, eg, chlorophyll is absent in fungi, stomata is absent in submerged acquatic hydrophytes or algae.
