Archae groups are similar to eukaryotic organisms because they lack a part of the cell wall and they are similar to bacteria in a way that their genetic material is spread throughout the cell. Thus, they are a blend of bacteria and eukaryotes. Archae can live only in areas without oxygen. A remarkable trait of archaebacterial is their ability to survive in extreme environments which include very salty, acidic, harsh and hot surroundings. Due to this trait, it was also concluded that they were a very ancient form of life to evolve on earth.
