Median class $35.5-40.5$
$\therefore \ell=35.5$ and $h=5, C=37, \quad \mathrm{f}=26$
$\begin{aligned}
&\therefore M=\ell+\frac{\frac{N}{2}-C}{f} \times h=35.5+\frac{50-37}{26} \times 5 \\
&=35.5+2.5=38 \\
&\sum f_i\left|x_i-M\right|=735
\end{aligned}$
Mean deviation $(M)=\frac{735}{100}=7.35$
