The correct answer is: bundle sheath
C4-plants show two types of cell involved in the dark reaction process (Kranz anatomy) - mesophylly cells and bundle sheath cells. The light dependent reaction of photosynthesis occurs in mesophyll cells. And the light independent in the bundle sheath. The OAA formed in mesophyll is transferred to bundle sheath which is decarboxylated to release carbon dioxide to be used in dark reaction.
