The process of photosynthesis consists of two steps, light dependent step is light reaction which occurs in grana and the light independent step which is dark reaction and occurs in stroma of chloroplast. In Dark reaction fixation of carbondioxide and glucose formation mainly occurs by Calvin cycle.
