In the figure the plant bears following two types of flowers. A - Chasmogamous flower (the flowers remain open, exposing anthers and stigmas.)
$\mathrm{B}$ - Cleistogamous flowers (the flowers remain closed, so that anthers and stigmas are never exposed) the types of pollination that will occur in these flowers are Autogamy (within same flower), Geitonogamy (different flowers of same plant) and Xenogamy (genetically different plants).
Ceistogamy is a type autogamy in which some plants, like, Commelina Benghalensis possess both chasmogamous and cleistogamous flowers.
In chasmogamous flowers, the flowers may undergo selfpollination or cross-pollination while the flowers undergo only self-pollination, in cleistogamous flowers.
