Aorta is the largest artery that comes out of the heart. It gives rise to various blood vessels going to individual organs. The renal artery is a branch of the aorta. Arteries enter organs and divide to form arterioles. Arterioles further divide to form capillaries. Capillaries unite to form venules. Venules join to form veins. Thus, venules are not branches but tributaries of veins.
