The correct answer is: MQ=14

Comparing the equation of the parabola, with standard equation y2=4ax, we get a=3.

Parametric form of parabola is x=at2, y=2at

 P=3t2,6tN=3t2,0M=3t2,3t

Q=3t24,3t

Equation of NQ:  y-0=3t-03t24-3t2x-3t2

i.e., y=-43t·x-3t2y=-43t·x+4t

4t=43t=13

PN=6t=2

MQ=3t2-3t24=9t24=14
