Parathyroid tetany is caused due to hypoparathyroidism which results in low level of calcium in blood. This often causes cramping or twitching of muscles. Myxoedema is cause due to inactivity of thyroid. It is a type of hypothyroidism. Excessive secretion of growth hormone by pituitary gland in adult hood causes acromegaly. Addison's diseases is a type of endocrine disorder caused due to low amount of cortisol produced by adrenal.
