The formation of micelles takes place only above a particular temperature called Kraft temperature $\left({\mathrm{T}}_{\mathrm{k}}\right)$ and above a particular concentration called critical micelle concentration $\left(\mathrm{CMC}\right)$. On dilution, these colloids revert to individual ions.
