X – Rays radiation is a form of electromagnetic radiation. X-rays have a wavelength in the range of $0.01 \mathrm{nm}$ to $10 \mathrm{nm}$, corresponding to frequencies in the range $30 \mathrm{PHz}$ to $30 \mathrm{EHz}$. Therefore, they are used in studying crystals structure of solids.
