Mono chlorination of 2-methylbutane gives four isomers (I, II, III, IV)

Here only two, i.e., II and IV are optically active. Since each optically active compound has two enantiomers, therefore, in all there are four chiral compounds and two achiral compound (I, III) so total 6 compounds are possible.
