The correct answer is:
$\mathrm{H}_2 \quad \mathrm{C}_2 \mathrm{H}_6, \mathrm{CO}_2$
When sodium acetate is electrolysed in aqueous medium, it react as follows
$$
2 \mathrm{CH}_3 \mathrm{COONa}+2 \mathrm{H}_2 \mathrm{O} \longrightarrow 2 \mathrm{CO}_2+2 \mathrm{C}_2 \mathrm{H}_6+2 \mathrm{H}_2
$$
At anode (Y): $\mathrm{C}_2 \mathrm{H}_6+\mathrm{CO}_2$
At cathode $(\mathrm{X}): \mathrm{H}_2$
$$
2 \mathrm{CH}_3 \mathrm{COONa}+2 \mathrm{H}_2 \mathrm{O} \longrightarrow 2 \mathrm{CO}_2+2 \mathrm{C}_2 \mathrm{H}_6+2 \mathrm{H}_2
$$
At anode (Y): $\mathrm{C}_2 \mathrm{H}_6+\mathrm{CO}_2$
At cathode $(\mathrm{X}): \mathrm{H}_2$
