Globular head of myosin contains an ATPase enzyme that along with $\mathrm{CO}^{2+}$ and $\mathrm{Mg}^{2+}$ ions catalyses the breakdown of ATP during muscle contraction. It also has binding site for ATP and active sites for actin.
