The correct answer is:
$2 \mathrm{mg}$
Given, $y=u t+g t^{2}$
Comparing with equation of motion $y=u t+\frac{1}{2} a t^{2}$
we get, $a=2 g$
$\therefore$ Force $=m \times a=m \times 2 g=2 m g$
Comparing with equation of motion $y=u t+\frac{1}{2} a t^{2}$
we get, $a=2 g$
$\therefore$ Force $=m \times a=m \times 2 g=2 m g$
